Welcome to the website for the faculty Kick-In of Advanced Technology. On this website, you can find all the information you need for the faculty Kick-In.

During the Kick-In of the University of Twente, you will not only get to know your fellow students and the university itself, but you will also have an amazing time filled with fun activities. On the first day, you will have to pick a so-called do-group. A do-group consists of around ten freshmen (the kiddos) and a few older Advanced Technology students (the parents). You will spend a lot of time with this do-group and experience the Kick-In together.

You need to sign up to participate in the faculty Kick-In. We encourage you to do so as it is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow students.

Some important information regarding the Kick-In

Study-Related Programme

Date: 26th - 28th August

Programme:

The programme will start on Monday morning at 8:30 in Waaier 3. During these days, you will learn more about the faculty, the educational systems, the study association, and your specific study. You can find the full programme details on our website and on the Kick-In website kick-in.nl/program. Any changes to the locations or times of the programme will be updated on both websites.

Costs:

The total cost for the study-related programme is €30. This fee covers a goodie bag with useful and fun stuff, as well as a do-group shirt that you will treasure for the rest of your student days. Additionally, meals will be provided during the study-related programme.

What do you need to bring?

  1. A Dutch bank account or your account number including the BIC/Swift code for non-Dutch bank accounts
  2. Clothing that may get dirty
  3. A bike

Study Association: S.A. Astatine

S.A. Astatine is the study association of Advanced Technology. We organize various activities related to your study, career development, and social networking. Astatine acts as a link between students and the educational program, providing support for any study-related complaints. In addition to study-related activities, we also organize social events such as parties, excursions, trips abroad, and afternoon drinks to help you meet new people.
